Questions:

  1. How do I report a meth lab?

        If you find a meth lab call 911 immediately. This enables an immediate response to a very dangerous situation. If you want to report suspicious activity in reference to methamphetamine production please call the Evansville Police Department Methamphetamine Suppression Unit at 812-436-7918.

 

  1. What does a meth lab look like?

                  A meth lab has many different components and chemicals involved. Some of these chemicals are camping fuel, pseudoephedrine based cold medication, ether, ammonium nitrate (cold packs), lye and sulfuric acid just to name a few.

 

  1.  What do I do if I find a meth lab?

                 If you locate a suspected methamphetamine lab stay away from it and call 911 immediately. If you feel as if you were exposed to a meth lab seek medical attention.

 

  1. Does the Evansville Police Department Meth Suppression Unit conduct presentations?

Yes, the EPD MSU does conduct training and presentations throughout  the year. Please contact EPD MSU at 812-436-7918 in regards to the presentation and training.
