Training Unit

The Training Unit provides overall training for the department, working closely with commanders to assist in developing training programs. This unit insures that there are departmental instructors for firearms, CPR, street survival, defensive tactics, hazardous materials, and any other specialized area where training is needed for members of the department. This unit, which consists of one sergeant and one Civilian Training Specialist, coordinates arrangements for officers attending out-of-town schools and seminars.
