Firearms Training Coordinator

The Firearms Training Coordinator, a member of the Field Training Unit, coordinates the department’s firearms training and qualification program. This position is staffed by one officer who insures that the department has sufficient Certified Firearm Instructors, plans the annual firearms training and qualification schedules, insures that the departmental range is properly maintained, and supervises annual inspection of all weapons by departmental armorers.
