Field Training Unit

The Field Training Unit is staffed by one sergeant and two officers and encompasses the Field Training Officer program, directing the training and performance evaluations of new police officers during the time they are on probationary status. In addition to coordinating the training for new officers, these officers coordinate refresher and remedial training for senior officers and general in-service training for all members of the department.
